The series wastes no time explaining anything about the Marvel Cinematic Universe and gets right to the heart of the matter and even starts mixing up the scenarios without warning. This is for the fans, not the casual viewer! However, the variety of episodes also means that the quality and tone varies quite a bit. The short run time means that many events and battles are deleted. A lot of effort has been made to make everything canon and consistent, but there are still some flaws and each character’s power/abilities seem tailored to the needs of the plot.
