Detective Kat Donovan’s world unravels when she discovers her estranged fiancĂ© on a dating app. Causing her to reopen her father’s unsolved murder.. This will be the 4th adaptation of Harlan Coben’s novel starring Richard Armitage. Here’s a corrected and polished version of your update: I just watched all five episodes. I wasn’t really feeling it until the second episode, but I decided to go through with it. Cohen’s adaptations seem to follow a pattern of largely unrelated or overly complicated plot threads that all come together nicely in the final episode. While the previous ones were pretty good, this one seemed really weak in comparison. There wasn’t much of a plot to this one, and all the "aha" moments were crammed into the last episode – typical Cohen from what I’ve seen. The acting was good and the characters weren’t terrible, but the story just wasn’t compelling or engaging. It felt more like just getting to the end. I wouldn’t say don’t watch it, but if you have other options in your queue, I’d definitely put them ahead of this one. Let me know if there is anything you want to adjust further!.
