This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project to date, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities constructing the series’ props and sets.
It could have been scary, but it’s not
It’s always a challenge to translate inner thoughts and fears, doubts, and internal reactions into things like visions! The dubbing is pretty good in English, but I switched to Spanish with English subtitles and felt more comfortable.
I’ve read the book three times in my life and it’s all good
I’m glad they took their time at the table because it’s important to set the scene, and even if it does seem a little rushed, I’ll live with that for sixteen episodes. No expense has been spared on the locations and sets and it helps create the atmosphere.
